The Minister of State for Housing and Urban Development, Blessing Attah, has urged Nigerians not to allow foreign narratives, particularly comments attributed to U.S. President Donald Trump, to cause division in the country.
Speaking with reporters at the Aminu Kano International Airport after returning from the Lesser Hajj, Attah said while global attention to Nigeria’s issues should not be ignored, citizens must remain united and focused on national stability.
He cautioned that foreign commentaries on Nigeria’s security and religious affairs are often exaggerated and could heighten unnecessary tension.
Attah reaffirmed the government’s commitment to protecting all Nigerians and engaging diplomatically with international partners, stressing that unity and peace remain the nation’s greatest strength.
