The General Overseer of the Redeemed Christian Church of God (RCCG), Pastor E.A. Adeboye, has urged President Bola Tinubu to initiate diplomatic talks with U.S. President Donald Trump to secure a 100-day reprieve to address terrorism in Nigeria.

Speaking during the November Holy Ghost Service, Adeboye advised Tinubu to give service chiefs a 90-day ultimatum to end terrorism or resign.

He cautioned that global powers such as China, Russia, and Britain would likely issue mere statements if the U.S. attacked Nigeria, stressing the need for swift and strategic diplomacy.

The cleric also expressed concern over misinformation reaching the President, citing Tinubu’s recent claim that displaced persons had returned home.

He urged the government to focus on eliminating terrorists and their sponsors, assuring Nigerians that peace would soon return to the nation.
