The Federal Ministry of Women Affairs, in partnership with Intelligent Innovations Limited, has launched the Happy Woman Platform, a national initiative aimed at empowering 10 million Nigerian women with financial and digital tools for economic growth.
Unveiled on Thursday in Abuja, the platform provides a one-stop digital hub offering access to low-interest loans, grants, training, mentorship, and business support for women entrepreneurs, professionals, and creatives.
CEO of Intelligent Innovations, Kunle Erinle, said the programme will equip women with financial literacy and business management skills, adding that training is mandatory for those seeking funding through the platform.
Minister of Women Affairs, Hajiya Imaan Sulaiman-Ibrahim, described the initiative as a major step toward gender-inclusive economic development, aligning with President Bola Tinubu’s Renewed Hope Agenda.
The platform also features health and wellness support and will host a Women Innovation Challenge to identify and fund 1,000 innovative business ideas from women nationwide.
