Three young men lost their lives on Wednesday morning in a fatal accident at Tipper Garage, Dutse, Abuja.
Eyewitnesses said a trailer, reportedly suffering brake failure, lost control and rammed into the victims who were riding a motorcycle.
One of them was said to have been decapitated by the impact.
The crash caused a heavy traffic gridlock along Buhari and Obasanjo roads as residents and motorists gathered at the scene.
Emergency responders and security operatives later arrived to clear the wreckage and restore traffic flow.
Authorities have launched an investigation into the incident and are working to identify the deceased.
