Tinubu Appoints Five New Permanent Secretaries

President Bola Tinubu has approved the appointment of five new Permanent Secretaries to fill existing vacancies in the Federal Civil Service.

Head of the Civil Service of the Federation, Mrs. Didi Walson-Jack, announced the appointments in a statement on Monday in Abuja.

The appointees are Ibrahim Ozi (FCT), Ezemama Chidiebere (Imo), Garba Usman (North Central), Mohammed Ishiyaku (North East), and Ukaire Chigbowu (South East).

Walson-Jack said the selection followed a rigorous, merit-based process in line with the administration’s commitment to excellence and professionalism.

She added that the new Permanent Secretaries bring the experience needed to strengthen service delivery and advance national development goals.
