A former aide to ex-President Goodluck Jonathan, Dr. Waripamo-Owei Dudafa, has commended Bayelsa State Governor, Senator Douye Diri, for defecting to the All Progressives Congress (APC).

In a statement on Tuesday, Dudafa described Diri’s decision as “a wise and strategic move” that would align Bayelsa with the Federal Government for accelerated development and inclusion.

He praised the governor’s leadership style, noting that his inclusive and pragmatic approach has brought visible progress to the state.

“Your decision to work in synergy with President Bola Tinubu’s Renewed Hope Agenda will advance development in Bayelsa and the Niger Delta,” Dudafa said.

The former presidential aide pledged continued loyalty and support for the governor, lauding his courage and foresight in repositioning Bayelsa for greater growth.
