Nigeria’s Rivers United and Zambia’s Power Dynamos have been drawn in Group A of the 2025/26 CAF Champions League alongside defending champions Pyramids FC of Egypt and Morocco’s RS Berkane.
The draw, held Monday in Johannesburg, produced several exciting pairings, including a rematch between Pyramids and Berkane after their CAF Super Cup clash.
Record 12-time champions Al Ahly headline Group B with Tanzania’s Young Africans, AS FAR of Morocco, and JS Kabylie of Algeria. Group C features Mamelodi Sundowns (South Africa), Al Hilal (Sudan), MC Alger (Algeria), and St Éloi Lupopo (DR Congo). Group D has Espérance de Tunis (Tunisia), Simba SC (Tanzania), Petro de Luanda (Angola), and Stade Malien (Mali).
The group stage begins November 21-23, 2025, pauses for AFCON Morocco 2025, and resumes January 2026.
The champions will earn $4 million, while runners-up take home $2 million.
