Top political figures, including APC National Chairman Dr. Nentawe Yilwatda and Nasarawa State Governor Abdullahi Sule, on Saturday paid their final respects to the late former Deputy Governor of Nasarawa State, Senator Solomon Ewuga.
The funeral service, held at the Evangelical Reformed Church of Christ (ERCC), Alushi, drew a large crowd of mourners, including former governors Abdullahi Adamu and Tanko Al-Makura, ex-Minister Labaran Maku, and NDE DG Silas Agara.
Yilwatda described Ewuga as a man of integrity and urged APC members to emulate his dedication to unity and public service. Governor Sule also emphasized peace and harmony as key to national progress, noting that Ewuga’s legacy of service would endure.
Maku hailed the late senator as a “political hurricane” whose passion for Nasarawa’s development inspired many.
Senator Ewuga died on September 23, 2025, in Cairo, Egypt, at the age of 70.
