The Senate on Thursday confirmed Bernard Doro as a Minister of the Federal Republic of Nigeria after a brief screening session at the National Assembly in Abuja.
Presided over by Senate President Godswill Akpabio, the lawmakers unanimously approved Doro’s nomination through a voice vote.
During the session, which lasted less than 30 minutes, Doro outlined his commitment to transparency, accountability, and national development.
Lawmakers described the process as smooth and expressed confidence in his capacity to serve effectively in President Bola Tinubu’s cabinet.
His ministerial portfolio will be announced in the coming days.
