Minister of the Federal Capital Territory (FCT), Nyesom Wike, has arrived in Dubai, United Arab Emirates, for the 2025 Asia Pacific Cities Summit and Mayors’ Forum (2025APCS).

Wike, who left Abuja on Sunday, was received early Monday by Nigeria’s Consul General in Dubai, Ambassador Zayyanu Ibrahim, and officials of the Federal Capital Territory Administration (FCTA).

His delegation includes the Acting Executive Secretary of the FCDA, Engr. Richard Yunana Dauda; SSA on Legal and Multilateral Cooperation, Benedict Daudu; and other top officials.

Wike is expected to speak on a discussion panel Tuesday, engaging mayors and city leaders from across the world on urban development and investment opportunities.

The summit, organized by the Brisbane City Council, brings together mayors, city leaders, and business executives to foster trade and sustainable city partnerships across Asia Pacific, the Middle East, Africa, and beyond.
