Super Falcons goalkeeper Chiamaka Nnadozie has expressed confidence that Benin Republic cannot stop Nigeria from qualifying for the 2026 Women’s Africa Cup of Nations.
Speaking ahead of today’s first-leg clash at Stade de Kegue, Lomé, the Brighton shot-stopper said the team is mentally and physically prepared.
“The spirit is very high. Since we knew we’d face Benin, we’ve been strategizing on how to beat them. We’re ready,” Nnadozie told journalists on Thursday.
She added that the team respects all opponents but remains focused on victory. “We don’t care who we play. They’re a good side, but our focus is on us,” she said.
Nnadozie also thanked Nigerian fans for their unwavering support, promising to reward them with strong performances and consistent wins.
