President Bola Ahmed Tinubu has congratulated businessman and philanthropist Sir Kessington Adebutu, fondly called Baba Ijebu, on his 90th birthday, describing him as a national icon and model of service to humanity.
In a statement on Friday, Tinubu praised Adebutu’s journey from humble beginnings in Iperu-Iremo, Ogun State, to becoming a trailblazer in Nigeria’s business and philanthropic landscape.
He lauded Adebutu’s impact through Premier Lotto Limited, operators of the Baba Ijebu brand, and his foundation’s contributions to education, healthcare, and youth empowerment.
Tinubu also highlighted Adebutu’s cultural influence as the Odole-Oodua of Ile-Ife, commending his integrity, generosity, and commitment to uplifting lives.
“Chief Adebutu’s legacy of enterprise, compassion, and service will endure across generations,” the President stated.
