Mohamed Salah has removed all references to Liverpool from his social media accounts after being dropped for Wednesday’s 5-1 Champions League win over Eintracht Frankfurt.
Manager Arne Slot benched the Egyptian star following a string of poor performances, including the 2-1 loss to Manchester United.
Salah came on in the 74th minute but failed to impress, drawing criticism for ignoring a pass to Florian Wirtz and missing a clear chance.
By Thursday, Salah’s Instagram and X profiles no longer mentioned Liverpool.
His Instagram showed a black-and-white photo captioned “Always believing,” while his X page displayed a family picture without a bio.
The 33-year-old, who signed a new two-year deal earlier this year, has scored three goals and provided three assists in 12 appearances this season.
