Celtic manager Brendan Rodgers has confirmed that Super Eagles forward Kelechi Iheanacho may have sustained a hamstring injury during the team’s 2-1 Europa League win over Sturm Graz on Thursday.

Iheanacho was forced off early in the match and replaced by Johnny Kenny, while defender Alistair Johnston also limped off with a similar issue. Centre-back Cameron Carter-Vickers later picked up an ankle injury.

Rodgers expressed concern over the situation, saying, “The first two, Iheanacho and Johnston, it doesn’t look great. It looks like hamstrings. But that’s what happens sometimes.”

All three players are now doubtful for Sunday’s Premiership clash with Hearts, who currently lead Celtic by five points.
