Appointees of Governor Hyacinth Iormem Alia from Mbayegh/Mbaikyer Council Ward in Konshisha Local Government Area of Benue State have urged constituents to actively participate in the ongoing Continuous Voter Registration (CVR), exercise by the Independent National Electoral Commission (INEC).

Speaking during a sensitization meeting in Konshisha, the Technical Adviser to the Governor on Infrastructure, Engr. Mlumun Ikpaahindi; the Governor’s Private Secretary and PSA on ICT and New Media, Comrade Angula Bishop Reuben; and the Executive Secretary of the Benue Investment and Promotion Agency, Dr. Terhemen Kpenkaan, described voter registration as key to ensuring citizens’ participation in the 2027 elections.

They encouraged eligible voters to obtain their Permanent Voter Cards (PVCs), stressing that it remains the only tool to re-elect Governor Alia and other credible leaders.

Engr. Ikpaahindi also outlined the administration’s achievements in two years, including the renovation of healthcare centres, construction of rural roads, electrification projects, school rehabilitation, youth empowerment, agricultural support, and prompt payment of salaries.

The event featured the presentation of gifts and entertainment worth millions of naira to residents of the ward.
