Air Peace is set to commence its Abuja-London Heathrow service on Sunday, October 26, 2025, marking another milestone for the Nigerian carrier after launching its Lagos-London Gatwick route last year.
The airline becomes the first Nigerian carrier in over a decade to operate direct flights from Abuja to both Heathrow and Gatwick.
Industry observers say the new route follows Air Peace’s stellar performance on the Lagos-London service, recently ranked second in landing precision among over 50 airlines at Gatwick Airport.
Aviation stakeholders commended President Bola Tinubu and Aviation Minister Festus Keyamo for supporting indigenous airlines’ international expansion.
Air Peace Chairman, Dr. Allen Onyema, said the new route reflects the airline’s growing global confidence and commitment to safety and service excellence.
He disclosed that the airline plans to expand further with direct flights from Lagos to Brazil and Antigua and Barbuda.
