Liverpool captain Virgil van Dijk says the Reds will use their emphatic 5-1 Champions League win over Eintracht Frankfurt as a springboard to revive their season.
The victory ended Liverpool’s four-game losing streak across all competitions, including a home defeat to Manchester United.
Speaking to TNT Sports, Van Dijk said the team remains focused despite recent criticism.
“I don’t know if it’s a statement, but it’s a win and something to build on,” he said. “We were disappointed with previous results, but we have to stick together, keep working, and focus on the next game.”
He added that Liverpool will be ready for their next Premier League clash against Brentford, stressing the need to stay positive and avoid distractions.
“Keep going, don’t get dragged into all that stuff,” he said.
