Nigeria’s Victor Osimhen shone brightly as Galatasaray defeated Bodo/Glimt 3-1 in their UEFA Champions League clash at RAMS Park on Wednesday night.

Osimhen scored twice, becoming the first Galatasaray player to score in seven consecutive European matches.

His opening goal also entered the record books as the earliest Champions League goal in the club’s history.

The striker, who was named Man of the Match, credited his teammates and fans for the achievement.

“I don’t score or break records alone. A huge thank you to my teammates and our supporters,” Osimhen said. “We’ve been winning together, and I’d love to see my teammates also win the Man of the Match award.”

He added that his focus remains on helping the team succeed through goals, assists, and hard work.

“The important thing is to contribute to the team’s fight, whether through scoring or assisting,” he said.

Galatasaray’s victory further strengthens their position in the group as they continue their push for a place in the knockout stages.
