The Senator Nenadi Usman-led faction of the Labour Party (LP), has called for the arrest of Acting INEC Chairman, Mrs. May Agbamuche-Mbu, accusing her of colluding with former LP Chairman Julius Abure through a “fake court order.”

In a statement signed by Interim National Spokesman, Toni Akeni, the faction alleged that Agbamuche-Mbu wrongfully recognised Abure despite a Supreme Court ruling that affirmed Usman as the party’s legitimate leader.

The group claimed that INEC acted on a non-existent court order and challenged Agbamuche-Mbu to produce it.

It urged the incoming INEC Chairman to address what it described as “a grave injustice,” while calling on party members to prepare for a peaceful protest against alleged collusion within the Commission.
