An 18-year-old Nigerian, Mohammed Aminu Sani, has made history as the country’s youngest commercial pilot after earning a U.S. Federal Aviation Administration (FAA), Commercial Multi-Engine Pilot License.
Sani completed a 10-month intensive training at Phoenix East Aviation in Daytona Beach, Florida, without a single check ride failure, a rare feat that earned him praise from his instructors.
His achievement has been widely celebrated in Nigeria, with many describing it as a testament to the talent and determination of the nation’s youth.
Sani’s success adds to Nigeria’s growing reputation in global aviation and serves as an inspiration to aspiring young pilots across Africa.
