Zaria Nurse Killed by Phone Snatchers

A nurse at Gambo Sawaba General Hospital, Zaria, Hadiza Musa, has been killed by hoodlums who attempted to snatch her mobile phone.

Hadiza, Deputy Head of the hospital’s Maternity Unit, was attacked on Saturday evening while returning home from a salon visit in the Filin Mallawa area of Tudun Wada, Zaria.

Her husband, Hamza Ibrahim Idris, said she was last heard from around 6 p.m. before being found unconscious by the roadside near Mallawa Eid Ground.

She was rushed to ABU Teaching Hospital, Shika, where she was confirmed dead.

Hadiza, described as a dedicated health worker, left behind six children, three biological and three adopted.
