The Nigerian Meteorological Agency (NiMet), has predicted a mix of sunshine, cloudy skies, and isolated thunderstorms across the country from Wednesday to Friday.
According to NiMet’s forecast, the northern region will experience sunny skies throughout the period, with isolated thunderstorms expected over southern Taraba.
The central states, including Abuja, Kogi, Kwara, Benue, and Nasarawa will see sunny mornings followed by afternoon and evening thunderstorms.
In the southern region, cloudy conditions with morning rains and thunderstorms are expected across states such as Lagos, Ondo, Rivers, Cross River, and Akwa Ibom, with moderate rains later in the day.
NiMet advised residents, especially farmers and motorists, to be cautious of possible flash floods, slippery roads, and lightning during the forecast period.
