The Federal Airports Authority of Nigeria (FAAN), has set December 2025 to attain full International Organisation for Standardisation (ISO), certification, aimed at improving service quality and operational efficiency across Nigerian airports.
FAAN Managing Director, Mrs. Olubunmi Kuku, disclosed this in Lagos during the unveiling of the agency’s ISO Policy, saying the process was 70 percent complete, with external audits scheduled for November.
Represented by the Director of Human Resources, Dr. Luqman Emiola, Kuku said the policy integrates ISO 9001:2015 (Quality Management), and ISO 14001:2015 (Environmental Management), to ensure adherence to global best practices.
She reaffirmed FAAN’s commitment to safe, efficient, and environmentally responsible airport operations, while the Director of Special Duties, Mrs. Obiageli Orah, added that the audit would assess service quality, customer satisfaction, and ethical conduct.
