Former Super Eagles forward Gambo Mohammed has expressed surprise that Nigerian striker Emmanuel Dennis remains without a club despite his talent and experience.
Dennis was recently linked with a move to Watford, but the deal reportedly collapsed at the final stage.
Mohammed described Dennis as a player of “immense quality” who should be scoring goals regularly for a top club.
“I really don’t understand why he’s not playing. He’s a very good player with the kind of style many clubs need,” he said.
He, however, speculated that off-field issues such as motivation or discipline might be factors, adding, “I hope he gets a new club soon as a free agent.”
