Atletico Madrid have lodged an official complaint with UEFA after discovering there was no hot water available at Arsenal’s Emirates Stadium ahead of their Champions League clash.
Diego Simeone’s men trained at the venue on Monday evening but were left “surprised and angered” by the situation.
The Spanish club reported the issue to Arsenal officials before the 6:45 p.m. session, yet the problem persisted, forcing players to return to their hotel to shower.
Atletico asked UEFA to acknowledge what they described as an “anomalous situation.”
