Benue State Governor, Hyacinth Alia, has commiserated with the Senate Minority Leader, Senator Abba Moro, over the deaths of his son, Victor Moro, and his grandson, Abba Moro Jr., who died within 24 hours of each other.
In a statement by his Chief Press Secretary, Tersoo Kula, in Makurdi, Alia described the loss as “painful and devastating,” urging the family to take solace in God.
He prayed for the repose of the souls of the deceased and strength for the bereaved family.
Reports said Victor, who recently returned from Turkey after completing his studies, died in a motor accident along the Mararaba axis of Nasarawa State, just a day after his father’s grandson was buried.
