Leading corporate organisations, including First Bank of Nigeria, MTN, Amstel Malta, Nigerian Breweries, and FIBI, have pledged support for the 2025 Abuja Trade Fair aimed at empowering women entrepreneurs.
Scheduled to hold from October 31 to November 2 at the Moshood Abiola National Stadium, the fair is organised by OKADS Seafoods in partnership with the Development Bank of Nigeria and SMEDAN.
Convener and CEO of OKADS Seafoods, Ebiere Empere, said the event will provide women in business and local producers access to new markets, networks, and economic opportunities.
“This year’s edition will be one of the biggest in Abuja. We’ve expanded the venue to accommodate rising interest from exhibitors and visitors,” Empere told journalists.
She added that 100 local market women would receive free exhibition stands to promote inclusivity and support small-scale traders.
The three-day fair will feature a shopping festival, entertainment, and family-friendly attractions, including a kiddies’ zone, offering visitors a platform to shop ahead of the festive season.
