President Bola Ahmed Tinubu has returned from the Aqaba Process Summit in Rome, where he engaged in high-level meetings on global security and interfaith dialogue.

According to his Special Adviser on Information and Strategy, Bayo Onanuga, Tinubu met with Italian Prime Minister Giorgia Meloni, Massad Boulos, Senior Adviser to former U.S. President Donald Trump and Vatican Secretary of State, Cardinal Pietro Parolin.

Talks with the Vatican focused on promoting religious tolerance and countering disinformation that portrays Nigeria as divided along religious lines.

The Aqaba Process, established in 2015, fosters global cooperation against terrorism and promotes peace and stability through dialogue among nations.
