Olowu of Kuta Celebrates Ooni of Ife at 51

The Olowu of Kuta, Oba Hammed Oyelude Makama, CON, Tegbosun III, has congratulated the Ooni of Ife, Oba Adeyeye Enitan Ogunwusi, Ojaja II, on his 51st birthday, describing him as a unifying force for traditional rulers in Yorubaland and beyond.

In a message on Friday, Oba Makama praised the Ooni for his exemplary leadership, resilience, and unwavering commitment to promoting Yoruba culture and tradition.

He lauded the monarch’s wisdom and courage in managing the affairs of the revered Ife throne, noting that Ooni Ogunwusi “has remained a father to all and continues to inspire the youth.”

The Olowu also commended the Ooni’s active participation in national discourse, particularly his advocacy for greater roles for traditional rulers at the recent monarchs’ meeting in Lagos.

Oba Makama, on behalf of his council and the people of Kuta, prayed for the Ooni’s continued good health, long life, and prosperity, wishing him more fruitful years of service to the nation and humanity.
