The Nigerian Guild of Editors (NGE), has rescheduled its 2025 All Nigeria Editors Conference (ANEC), to November 12-13 in Abuja.

In a statement by NGE President, Eze Anaba, and General Secretary, Onuoha Ukeh, the Guild apologised for the adjustment and assured that the change would not affect the conference’s quality.

President Bola Ahmed Tinubu is expected as Special Guest of Honour to declare the conference open.

With the theme “Democratic Governance and National Cohesion: The Role of Editors,” and sub-theme “Electoral Integrity and Trust Deficit: What Nigerians Expect in 2027,” the event will focus on media’s role in strengthening democracy and rebuilding electoral trust.

Speakers include Prof. Awa Kalu (SAN), Prof. Sheriff Ghali Ibrahim, Prof. Abiodun Adeniyi, and retired Gen. Lucky Irabor.

Over 500 editors, government officials, academics, and business leaders are expected to attend.
