The Nigerian Air Force (NAF) will temporarily close some roads around the Murtala Muhammed Airport, Lagos, on Saturday for a 10-kilometre fitness walk by its personnel.

NAF Headquarters Logistics Command spokesperson, Squadron Leader Abigail Ologun, announced this in a statement on Friday, explaining that the exercise aims to boost the health and operational readiness of personnel.

She said the walk would run from 6:00 a.m. to 8:00 a.m., affecting the route from Murtala Muhammed Airport 2 (MMA2) to the international airport (MMIA).

Motorists have been advised to use alternative routes and follow traffic instructions from security personnel. Normal traffic, Ologun assured, will resume immediately after the exercise.
