The National Association of Nigerian Students (NANS), has given the Federal Government and the Academic Staff Union of Universities (ASUU), a one-week ultimatum to end their ongoing dispute or face nationwide protests.
In a statement on Wednesday, NANS urged both parties to resume dialogue and reach a lasting resolution, warning that failure to do so would trigger mass demonstrations across campuses.
The student body lamented that prolonged crises between the government and ASUU have repeatedly disrupted academic calendars and examinations, leaving students as the greatest victims.
