Benin Republic captain, Steve Mounie, says the Cheetahs are fully motivated ahead of their crucial 2026 World Cup Qualifier against the Super Eagles of Nigeria.
Mounie told reporters that the team understands the importance of the fixture and will fight hard to secure all three points.
“I don’t think I need to motivate my teammates much. We all know what we’re playing for, which is bigger than any individual,” he said. “Everyone knows what to do to get qualification. We’ll give our best on the pitch.”
The match kicks off at 5 p.m. (Nigeria time).
