Tinubu Arrives Rome for Africa Security Summit

President Bola Ahmed Tinubu has arrived in Rome, Italy, for the Aqaba Process Heads of State and Government meeting focused on regional and continental security.

His jet landed at Fiumicino International Airport around 7:20 p.m. local time on Saturday. According to his Special Adviser on Information and Strategy, Bayo Onanuga, the summit begins Monday, October 14.

The high-level forum will gather African leaders, defence chiefs, and security experts to discuss terrorism, organised crime, and digital radicalisation, as well as the link between Sahel insurgencies and Gulf of Guinea piracy.

Tinubu is also expected to hold bilateral meetings with other African leaders to strengthen regional security cooperation.
