The Federal Inland Revenue Service (FIRS) will on Tuesday, October 28, hold the second edition of its 2025 Tax Clinic in Abuja through the Emerging Taxpayers’ Group (ETG).
The one-day event, themed “Tax Clinic for Tax Clarity: Transitioning into NRS,” aims to educate small business owners, entrepreneurs, and professionals on their tax obligations and the transition to the Nigeria Revenue Service (NRS).
FIRS Executive Chairman, Dr. Zacch Adedeji, said the clinic is part of efforts to simplify tax processes and promote voluntary compliance.
“Our goal is to simplify tax, not complicate it,” he said, describing the initiative as central to FIRS’s citizen-focused reform agenda.
