Stakeholders of the All Progressives Congress (APC) in Enugu West Senatorial District have pledged full support for President Bola Tinubu’s Renewed Hope Agenda and his 2027 re-election bid.
In a communiqué issued after a meeting at the Golden Royale Hotel, Enugu, the group also welcomed the reported defection of Governor Peter Mbah to the APC, describing it as a move that would reposition the state politically.
They commended the APC National Working Committee for dissolving the former state executive led by Ugochukwu Agballa, saying the decision restored peace to the party.
The communiqué, read by Barr. Godwin Onwusi, also lauded the appointment of Dr. Ben Nwoye and Rt. Hon. Eugene Odoh as chairman and secretary of the Enugu APC Caretaker Committee, expressing confidence in their leadership.
The group urged members to support the new team and stated that Mbah’s inclusion would strengthen the APC’s electoral prospects in Enugu and beyond.
