The National Chairman of the Inter-Party Advisory Council (IPAC), Yusuf Dantalle, has expressed confidence that the new INEC Chairman, Prof. Joash Ojo Amupitan, SAN, will restore integrity and transparency to Nigeria’s electoral process.

Speaking on Arise Television’s Prime Time on Friday, Dantalle described Amupitan’s appointment as timely, citing his strong legal background as an asset in tackling electoral disputes and litigation challenges.

He also commended former INEC Chairman, Prof. Mahmoud Yakubu, for advancing technology in election management, urging the National Assembly to enact pending electoral reforms to improve the political climate.

Dantalle called on stakeholders to support Amupitan in strengthening transparency and credibility in future elections.
