Abuja will host the 2025 Africa Climate Forum (ACF), from October 14 to 15, bringing together governments, investors, innovators, and civil society to advance Africa’s green transition.
Announcing this on Friday, the Director-General of the Global Centre for Law, Business and Economy (GCLBE), Dr. George Nwangwu, said the Forum, now in its third year has become a leading platform for translating climate ideas into action.
Themed “Bolder, Greener and Better Steps: Closing Transition Gaps in Africa,” the event will focus on financing, innovation, and partnerships to accelerate clean energy access and climate resilience.
Nwangwu noted that while progress has been made, Africa still faces funding and technology gaps.
“Africa has moved past awareness; the real work now is financing, coordination, and execution,” he said.
The two-day event will feature keynote sessions, side meetings, and a deal room connecting project owners with investors.
