NABTEB Releases 2025 Results, Records Surge in Mathematics Performance

The National Business and Technical Examinations Board (NABTEB), has released the 2025 June/July National Business Certificate (NBC), and National Technical Certificate (NTC), results, showing significant improvement in candidates’ performance, particularly in Mathematics.

Announcing the results in Abuja on Thursday, September 11, 2025, the Registrar/Chief Executive, Dr. Mohammed Aminu Mohammed, disclosed that 89,621 candidates had their results released.

Of these, 61,104 candidates, representing 68.18% obtained five credits and above, including English Language and Mathematics. This marks a rise from the 65.34% recorded in 2024.

Mathematics stood out as the best-performing subject, with 94.60% of candidates achieving a pass, a sharp increase compared to the previous year. English Language also recorded slight improvement.

Dr. Mohammed noted a 37.08% increase in enrolment, with 92,875 candidates sitting for the exams across 1,892 centres nationwide.

He further revealed that cases of examination malpractice dropped, with 435 candidates caught in 2025 compared to 349 in 2024.

He announced that registration for the 2025 November/December examinations has commenced.
