The Abuja Chamber of Commerce and Industry (ACCI) has announced that the 20th Abuja International Trade Fair will take place from September 25 to October 6, 2025, at the Abuja Trade and Convention Centre.

The fair is expected to host 2,500 exhibitors from 20 countries and attract more than 100,000 participants.

Speaking at a press conference in Abuja on Monday, Chairman of the Fair, Dr. Aliyu Idi Hong, said this year’s edition will run under the theme: “Sustainability: Consumption, Incentives, and Taxation.”

A major highlight, he noted, will be the launch of the “Buy Africa, Build Africa” (BABA) initiative, designed to promote African products and services, boost intra-African trade, and drive economic empowerment.

Exhibitions will cut across sectors including agriculture, technology, fintech, and sustainable energy, with panel sessions featuring regulators such as the CBN, FIRS, and key ministries.

Dr. Hong also disclosed that a dedicated SME platform will be created to showcase and support small businesses, acknowledging their critical role in Nigeria’s economy.
