Federal Capital Territory (FCT), Minister, Nyesom Wike, on Friday night hosted a closed-door meeting with key members of the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP), at his official residence in Abuja.
The meeting, which commenced at about 8:40 p.m., drew top-ranking party leaders including PDP National Secretary, Senator Sam Anyanwu; National Vice Chairman (South-South), Dan Orbih; and former governors Samuel Ortom (Benue), Okezie Ikpeazu (Abia), and Ifeanyi Ugwuanyi (Enugu).
Also in attendance were former Senator representing Rivers East, George Sekibo, as well as several zonal and state PDP chairmen.
Details of the discussions were not immediately made public, but the gathering is believed to be part of ongoing consultations within the party ahead of crucial political realignments.
