The Department of State Services (DSS), has arrested two suspects for running a fake recruitment syndicate in the name of the Service.

The suspects, identified as Aliyu Ibrahim and an accomplice, were apprehended following intelligence that exposed their operations.

Preliminary investigations revealed that between 250 and 350 people may have fallen victim to the scam through false job promises.

A security source confirmed the suspects are in custody while efforts are underway to track other members of the network.

The DSS cautioned Nigerians against fraudulent recruitment offers, reiterating that authentic job advertisements are released only through its official platforms.

It urged the public to remain vigilant and promptly report suspicious activities.
