Shettima Presides Over NEC Meeting in Abuja

Vice President Kashim Shettima on Thursday chaired a meeting of the National Economic Council (NEC) at the Presidential Villa, Abuja.

The council, mandated to advise the President on economic planning and policy implementation, had in attendance key stakeholders, including several state governors.

Present were Kwara Governor and NGF Chairman AbdulRahman AbdulRazaq, Imo Governor and PGF Chairman Hope Uzodimma, as well as Governors Babajide Sanwo-Olu (Lagos), Charles Soludo (Anambra), Umo Eno (Akwa Ibom), Dauda Lawal (Zamfara), Inuwa Yahaya (Gombe), Bassey Otu (Cross River), Hyacinth Alia (Benue), Lucky Aiyedatiwa (Ondo), and Umar Namadi (Jigawa).

Rivers State Sole Administrator, Vice Admiral Ibok-Ete Ibas (retd.), also joined the meeting.
