The Peoples Democratic Party (PDP) will inaugurate its 2025 National Convention Organising Committee on Tuesday, September 2, 2025.
In a statement issued on Thursday by its National Publicity Secretary, Debo Ologunagba, the party said the inauguration will take place at the PDP National Secretariat, Wadata Plaza, Abuja, at 12 noon.
The statement disclosed that the 110-member committee will be chaired by Adamawa State Governor, Ahmadu Fintiri, with Osun State Governor, Ademola Adeleke, as Vice Chairman, while Enugu State Governor, Peter Mbah, will serve as Secretary.
The PDP urged leaders, stakeholders, and members to remain united and committed to the success of the forthcoming national convention.
“The NWC charges all leaders, critical stakeholders, and teeming members of the PDP to remain united, focused, and continue to work together towards the success of the PDP 2025 Elective National Convention scheduled to hold in Ibadan, Oyo State, from Saturday, November 15 to Sunday, November 16, 2025,” the statement read.
The convention is expected to be a major event in shaping the party’s direction as it prepares for the 2027 general elections.
