Deji Mike Adebayo, Chairman of the Nigeria Youth Organization (NYO), FCT chapter, has been appointed Deputy Managing Director (Business Development), of the Abuja Municipal Area Council Investment and Property Development Company (AMAC-IPDC).
His appointment, confirmed in a letter dated August 8, 2025, and signed by AMAC Chairman, Hon. Christopher Zakka, emphasized the need for responsibility, dedication, and commitment in the discharge of his new duties.
Adebayo, a prominent youth advocate, first gained national recognition after winning The Next President Show, a reality TV competition featuring contestants from all 36 states and the FCT.
He previously contested for the City Center ward seat in the 2019 AMAC elections under the Social Democratic Party (SDP), and has also served as Chairman of the Police Community Relations Committee (PCRC), in Area 2, Garki, Abuja.
Reacting to his appointment, Adebayo expressed gratitude to the AMAC chairman and pledged to justify the confidence reposed in him.
His elevation is seen as part of AMAC’s broader drive to promote youth inclusion in governance and development initiatives.
