The Economic and Financial Crimes Commission (EFCC), has called on victims of the fraudulent cryptocurrency platform, Crypto Bridge Exchange (CBEX), to report to its Ibadan and Lagos Zonal Directorates to assist ongoing investigations.

In a statement issued Friday, EFCC spokesperson Dele Oyewale said CBEX lured unsuspecting Nigerians into investing with promises of unrealistic returns, resulting in huge financial losses.

The commission disclosed that it is prosecuting three suspects; Adefowora Olanipekun, Otorudo Avwerosuo, and Ehirim Chukwuebuka for their alleged roles in the scam.

Victims who invested directly or through agents linked to CBEX offices in Ibadan and Idimu, Lagos, are urged to present themselves at the EFCC’s Ibadan Zonal Directorate and Lagos Zonal Directorate 2.
