Isaac Fayose, brother of former Ekiti State Governor Ayo Fayose, has praised the All Progressives Congress (APC)-led federal government for ongoing infrastructural projects in Abuja, saying the party’s performance could guarantee it victory in the 2027 elections.

In a video shared on social media platform X, Fayose highlighted the construction of a 198-kilometre water pipeline to Bwari, describing it as a landmark achievement of the Minister of the Federal Capital Territory (FCT), Nyesom Wike.

“Bwari people have been waiting for water for years, and now Minister Wike is delivering,” Fayose said. “You can see major projects taking shape. Let’s be honest, the APC government has changed Abuja.”

He noted that the project would provide residents with reliable access to clean water, while also pointing to an ongoing overhaul of the city’s sewage system as part of efforts to transform the capital.

“Abuja is beginning to look like a foreign city,” he remarked, adding that such large-scale infrastructural upgrades are difficult to achieve in other cities like Lagos due to geographical constraints.

Although he admitted that government actions are not immune to criticism, Fayose maintained that the APC’s record in Abuja under Wike’s stewardship could boost its electoral fortunes.

He described the minister as “a performing leader” who is redefining the city.
