Crystal Palace manager Oliver Glasner has all but confirmed Eberechi Eze’s exit, revealing the midfielder withdrew from the squad on the day of their historic 1-0 Conference League playoff victory over Fredrikstad.
Glasner said Eze had been pencilled in to start the Eagles’ first-leg clash at Selhurst Park, their debut in major European competition before Arsenal made their move.
The Gunners have agreed a £60 million deal for the 27-year-old, with an additional £7.5 million in add-ons, alongside personal terms already settled.
