Ethiopian Airlines will expand its flight schedule to Abuja, Nigeria, by adding three extra weekly services starting October 28, 2025. The additional evening flights will complement the existing daily midday flights, giving passengers more travel options.
The new flights will depart Abuja at 10 p.m. and connect seamlessly through Addis Ababa to various African and Asian destinations, reducing overall travel time.
Passengers will also enjoy added benefits. Those traveling to Mumbai, Delhi, Hyderabad, Madras, and Dubai will receive increased baggage allowance, while loyal customers will earn “double double miles” on their flights.
The schedule features evening departures from Abuja at 10 p.m., arriving in Addis Ababa at 5 a.m., enabling smooth onward connections to Dubai, São Paulo, Tel Aviv, and several African cities.
According to Firiehiwot Mekonnen, Ethiopian Airlines’ Area Manager in Nigeria, the move is aimed at enhancing service delivery and lowering travel costs for passengers.
Ethiopian Airlines has served the Nigerian market since 1960 and currently operates modern aircraft such as the Airbus A350-1000 and Boeing 787 Dreamliner. It connects Abuja, Lagos, Enugu, and Kano to more than 150 global destinations.
With the additional flights, passengers will have greater flexibility and faster access to international destinations, while the airline continues to reward loyal customers with enhanced benefits.
