Chioma Adeleke, wife of Afrobeats star Davido, honoured their late son, Ifeanyi, during their white wedding in Miami on August 10, 2025.
Sharing photos of her bouquet on Instagram Thursday morning, Chioma revealed a touching detail; an image of Ifeanyi pinned to the flowers. She captioned: “My best friend walked me into forever. Ify, you’re on my mind every day and you live in my heart. Always and forever. Love, mummy.”
Davido also paid tribute by wearing cufflinks engraved with Ifeanyi’s image, responding to Chioma’s post with the words: “Till Infinity.”
Ifeanyi, the couple’s first child together, died tragically in October 2022 at age three after drowning at the family’s Banana Island residence.
His death drew nationwide sympathy for the couple.
The Miami wedding marked the grand finale of their celebrations, following a court marriage in March 2023 and a traditional ceremony in Lagos in June 2024.
Photos of the bouquet and cufflinks have since gone viral, underscoring the couple’s enduring remembrance of their son.
